X Rolls Out Live Studio With $1 Million in Creator Rewards
X has launched Live Studio, a new livestreaming command center for creators, backed by a $1 million reward pool.

X has launched a new tool called Live Studio. It gives creators a space to plan run and track their livestreams. Nikita Bier the company's Head of Product shared the update. He called it a command center built for streamers who want to go live connect with followers and keep track of their streams all in one place.
Live Studio sits inside X's Creator Studio and takes over from the older Media Studio Producer tool. Creators can start streaming right away or schedule a broadcast well ahead of time. Before going public, they can also run a private test stream to make sure everything works.
The tool gives streamers strong control over who can watch and who can chat. Hosts can open their stream to everyone or limit it to verified accounts, people they follow, or paying subscribers, and they can turn chat off completely if needed. Streamers can also block viewers from certain countries and set custom thumbnails to make their broadcast stand out.
While live, creators get a real time dashboard showing viewer counts, chat activity, and where their audience is watching from. Once the stream ends, they get a full breakdown of views and engagement. The full setup and streaming requirements are laid out for creators who want to connect professional equipment through RTMP streaming.
To encourage people to try it out, X is also setting aside a reward pool worth one million dollars for creators who go live using the new tool. More details on how that money will be shared are expected soon.
The move is part of X's larger push to become a stronger home for live video, putting it in more direct competition with platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok Live.
